Mr. Baker was born in Burien, WA where he also went to Highline High School. He has been practicing personal injury law since admission to the bar in 2008. His understanding of not just the medicine but also the physical and psychological impact of his clients' injuries and treatments stems in good measure from all the sports-related injuries he's had requiring similar treatment.
When not in the office, Mr. Baker loves the Pacific Northwest summers for its mountains and waterways where he can be found swimming, paddling and boating, cycling, hiking, bouldering, climbing, and camping. Come winter, Mr. Baker can be found ski touring or skate skiing around Snoqualmie Pass and other mountains, but a truly great winter will also include a ski trip to the US or Canadian Rockies. He is also an avid and omnivorous reader.
"An intimate knowledge of the law and the judicial system gives influence. I believe that the purpose of influence is not to build one's ego or net worth; the purpose of influence is to speak up for those without it."
