          "Jason Baker and I both work in the field of traumatic brain injury litigation. Observing his work and involvement in the past several years, there are few lawyers in the country as dedicated to studying the science of traumatic brain injury cases as Jason Baker. Both in our membership in the AAJ Brain Injury Litigation Group and the Trial Guides Brain Injury Group, as well as in private personal and e-mail correspondence he has consistently demonstrated a very high level of expertise and understanding. He is studying the science of many different aspects of brain injuries and goes deep with his research to understand the impact of this complex injury on his clients. Nationally, he is amongst the very best lawyers in his understanding of traumatic brain injuries and the medical literature about them. I personally have hundreds of journal articles on many different aspects of brain injury, but when I ask Jason he always has several more I do not have. While I am often the lawyer helping others better understand these cases, he is one of few who materially contributes to my understanding and skills.

 First enacted in 2009 in Washington, the Zachary Lystedt return to play Law is now in all 50 states, Canada, Europe, and beyond. Mr. Lystedt was put back on the field before complete recovery from a prior brain injury so when he was concussed again he sustained what's called Second Impact Syndrome. The Syndrome is often fatal, and almost everyone who is not killed is severely disabled, like happened to Mr. Lystedt.  His undaunted courage resulted in this ground breaking law better protecting millions of children and student athletes across the globe.
